A Marion woman was ticketed by police after she allegedly struck a bicyclist with her car over the weekend.
It is alleged that Jennifer Williams failed to yield the right of way to a bicyclist on Pearsall Street in the town of Williamson. The bicyclist, 75-year-old Alan Delozier, of Williamson, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Williamson Ambulance.
Williamson Fire and Wayne County ALS assisted the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
