One of the driver’s involved in a two-car accident that happened on Monday on Pre-Emption Road in the town of Geneva.
An investigation determined Danielle Pinckney was driving south when she rear-ended the vehicle in front of her that was attempting to turn right into Massa Construction. The impact caused the car that was struck to spin into the parking lot.
The driver of the car that was hit, Bobbie Decker, of Auburn, was taken to Geneva General Hospital by Finger Lakes Ambulance for evaluation.
Pinckney, who is from Lyons, was ticketed for following too closely.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Finger Lakes Ambulance and the White Springs Fire Department.
