Driver Flees Truck During Traffic Stop

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rochester man who took off on foot during a traffic stop on State Route 104 in Ontario.

After receiving a complaint, deputies located a large truck hauling a trailer carrying several vehicles on State Route 104 in Williamson operated by 33-year-old Vyacheslav Migitskiy. During the stop, Migitskiy allegedly went out his passenger door and left the scene, leaving his truck and trailer on the side of the road.

Migitskiy later turned himself in to the sheriff’s office and was charged with obstruction of governmental administration.
