A traffic stop on Geneva Street in Lyons Saturday resulted in the arrest of a Rochester man.
After conducting a vehicle and traffic stop on Leonard Jones, Junior, the 43-year-old took off and was later caught on Dixon Avenue in the city of Geneva by the Geneva Police Department. Jones is charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, unlawful fleeing and driving while ability impaired by drugs and other traffic infractions.
Johns was taken to CAP where he was released with an appearance ticket to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
