Police arrested the driver of the car involved in a one-car accident that happened just after 1 Saturday morning in Seneca County.
Thomas Sorci is accused of driving off the road and striking a telephone pole. The 42-year-old Interlaken man suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by South Seneca Ambulance.
Sorci was charged with DWI and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. He will appear in Covert Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
