A Fairport woman was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital following a one-car accident on Carter Road in Geneva.
Lauren Natti was traveling north on Carter Road just before 8 o’clock when police determined she failed to negotiate a slight curve and traveled off the east side of the road and struck a tree and dirt pile. After Natti’s car struck the dirt pile it overturned. The 36-year-old was wearing a seatbelt and was able to get out of the car on her own.
Natti was taken to Rochester by Finger Lakes Ambulance for treatment of head, shoulder, and chest injuries.
Following their investigation, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office charged Natti with driving while intoxicated and speeding.
The North Side Fire Company and New York State Police assisted at the scene.
