The driver of a car found in a ditch and running was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Arthur Cowan after a deputy on patrol came across the car in the ditch. After finding Cowan behind the wheel with the vehicle running, the 75-year-old Romulus man was placed into custody for DWI and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for processing.
Cowan was charged with driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely and will return to Romulus Town Court to answer the charges. Additional charges are pending at this time.
