A woman who drove off the road and into a cemetery in Seneca County has been charged with driving while intoxicated.
The accident happened shortly before 4 on Saturday morning in the town of Lodi. The driver, 21-year-old Emily Hunt, of Berkshire, NY, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Geneva General Hospital by South Seneca Ambulance.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that in addition to DWI, Hunt was ticketed for multiple traffic violations but did not specify what those violations were. Hunt will appear in Lodi Town Court next month.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by South Seneca Ambulance and the Lodi Fire Department.
