The driver of the car involved in a rollover motor vehicle accident in Yates County one month ago has been arrested on a warrant stemming from that incident.
32-year-old Joshua Roth, of Prattsburgh, is accused of leaving the scene of the accident that happened on Havens Corners Road in Benton just before 5 a.m. on June 18th. He was arrested Wednesday on charges of criminal contempt, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Roth was released on appearance tickets for Benton Town Court.
The passenger in Roth’s car that morning, 28-year-old Miranda Elwell, of Dundee, suffered head, neck, and back injuries and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. There was no update on her condition.
