A Tuesday afternoon traffic accident on State Route 350 in Walworth resulted in the arrest of a Lyons man.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Shawn Belile was driving south at around 12:30 p.m. when his car went off the road and struck a mailbox. An investigation determined Belile to be impaired.
Following a Drug Recognition Expert evaluation, Belile was charged with DWI-Common Law, DWAI-Drugs, Aggravated unlicensed operation and a moving violation.
Belile was brought to the Wayne County Jail CAP where he was released on an appearance ticket for Walworth Town Court.
