A Penn Yan man faces a number of charges after the sheriff’s department was called to a residence in the village of Dundee for an alleged domestic incident.
It’s alleged that while deputies were en route to the scene, the suspect, 30-year-old Christopher Castle took off on foot after causing damage to a car. He was spotted a short time later on Hollister Street and was taken into custody. In addition to causing damage to a car, Castle is accused of causing damage to the porch of the residence. The incidents were all said to have occurred while the victim and two children were inside the car.
After being treated by EMS, Castle was arrested on unlawful imprisonment and two counts each of criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child.
