A traffic stop in the town of Tyre on New Year’s Eve resulted in the arrest of a Dansville man.
Nathaniel Close’s arrest stems from a traffic stop, where after an official police investigation, the 39-year-old was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while under the influence of drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Close was released on an appearance ticket for Tyre Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
