A Wayne County man is facing felony charges in Yates County after allegedly fleeing the scene of a one-car accident early Sunday morning.
An investigation revealed that 35-year-old Ben Keenan failed to stop at a stop sign on State Route 14 in the town of Torrey and crashed into an embankment. The Williamson man fled the scene when deputies arrived but was located and taken into custody a short time later.
Keenan refused to take standardized field sobriety tests and a chemical test.
Keenan was taken to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment on felony DWI and Aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle charges.
