The investigation into a one-car crash in South Bristol on Tuesday morning resulted in a Steuben County woman facing drug charges.
While investigating the accident near the intersection of State Route 64 and Stid Hill Road, Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies allegedly located a controlled substance in the pocket of 25-year-old Alexandria Good, of Corning. Good was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and was issued traffic tickets for unreasonable speed, leaving the lane unsafely, and driving on bald tires.
Good is set to appear in South Bristol Town Court at a later date to answer her charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
