The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office reports that 30-year-old Shawn Farrell was arrested on September 2 in the Town of Conquest after a reported fight on Spring Lake Road.
Deputies say Farrell had an active arrest warrant out of Onondaga County and resisted briefly during his arrest.
Farrell was processed at the Public Safety Building, issued an appearance ticket for Conquest Town Court, and then turned over to Onondaga County authorities.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
