A Conesus man was arrested by the Yates County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday for allegedly violating an Order of Protection.
Seth Thayer is accused of having communication with the protected party.
Thayer was charged with criminal contempt and released on an appearance ticket for Jerusalem Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
