A Clyde woman was arrested by Penn Yan Police following a traffic stop in the Yates County Village.
Megan Aguilarlopez was observed by police driving on East Elm Street while allegedly having a suspended New York State Driver’s License. According to police, the license was suspended for Aguilarlopez’s alleged failure to answer a summons out of Waterloo Town Court.
A traffic stop was initiated and Aguilarlopez was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and released on an appearance ticket.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
