A traffic stop in the village of Penn Yan resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old Clyde man.
Prior to the stop, a registration check by Penn Yan Police on William Brownlee’s car revealed it was suspended for an insurance lapse. A check of Brownlee’s license during the stop revealed his driving privileges in New York were suspended.
Brownlee was ticketed for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating while registration was suspended.
