A Clifton Springs man was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday in connection with an outstanding warrant.
It is alleged that on July 3, 2024, Glenn Williams stole a bottle of vinegar from a business in Sodus. The 67-year-old was issued an appearance ticket but failed to appear in Sodus Town Court on multiple occasions. As a result, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Williams was located and taken into custody in Ontario County. He was then transported to the Wayne County Jail and was released following his arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
