A Clifton Springs man was arrested for Animal Endangerment at Victor Target over the weekend.
Deputies arrested 49-year-old Jason Pilato of Clifton Springs last Saturday after responding to an animal complaint at the Target store in the Town of Victor.
Authorities say they found two dogs in Pilato’s vehicle showing signs of heat exposure. The vehicle was not running at the time.
Pilato was charged under New York Agriculture and Markets Law Section 353-D, issued an appearance ticket, and released for Victor Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
