A Farmington resident was arrested Sunday on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Madison Benson is accused of leaving an eight-year-old home alone. The 28-year-old Benson was released on an appearance ticket for Farmington Town Court.
Ontario County Child Protective Services was notified of the incident.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
