A misdemeanor assault charge filed against a Seneca Falls woman following her arrest last Friday has been upgraded to a felony.
Seneca Falls Police say the change came after reviewing the case against Tina Bruch and discovering her victim was 65 or older and Bruch was 10 years or younger than the victim.
The 49-year-old was arrested following an investigation into a physical dispute in the parking lot of a Seneca Falls business. Bruch was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with the victim which resulted in the victim suffering an unknown type of injury.
Bruch will face the upgraded charge in Seneca Falls Town Court.
