Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck reports that deputies arrested Timothy Tandle of Cayuga following a domestic disturbance call.
Deputies and a State Trooper responded to a residence in the Village of Cayuga on August 1st. Upon arrival, investigators found that Tandle had kicked a female in the leg while she was holding a 1-year-old child. No injuries were reported by either party.
Tandle was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, taken into custody, and brought to centralized arraignment. He was released on his own recognizance after an order of protection was issued.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
