The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Department arrested a 20-year-old Ira woman on charges of menacing and endangering the welfare of a child.
On June 3rd, a Cayuga County Sheriff’s Deputy and a New York State Trooper were dispatched to a home in Ira for a domestic incident. Upon investigation, deputies discovered that the suspect, Brianna Dudzinski, had allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with another woman at the residence. Dudzinski is accused of hitting and biting the victim, causing the victim to fear physical injury. The alleged incident happened in front of a two-year-old child.
Dudzinski was arraigned at CAP Court and released on an appearance ticket. An Order of Protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
