SHARE NOW

Two men are facing charges after allegedly trespassing inside a vacant property.

According to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on July 11 around 4:41a. When deputies arrived at a vacant house in the Town of Conquest for the report of people inside, they found Clarence Moore inside the house. The Montezuma man was taken into custody where he was found to have cocaine on him.

As the investigation continued, Eric Vroman was found in the area after having been inside the house despite having a full stay-away order of protection against him stating the Port Byron man could not be at that address.

Both men were taken to the Public Safety Building for processing.

Moore was charged with Criminal Trespass, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, both misdemeanors. He was released on appearance tickets for Conquest Town Court.

Vroman was charged with a misdemeanor count of Criminal Contempt.
