A Conquest man has been charged with forcible touching following an incident that happened last month at a home in Conquest.
It is alleged that Dale McCarthy forcibly touched the intimate parts of a woman’s body without her consent during a domestic incident. A search warrant executed on the home allegedly turned up an illegally possessed muzzleloader and a set of brass knuckles.
In addition to forcible touching, McCarthy was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Following his arraignment, McCarthy was sent to Cayuga County Jail in lieu of bail.
An Order of Protection was issued to the victim.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
