A Cayuga County man is facing felony charges after he allegedly stole a Kubota tractor.
The manager at Ted’s Way Trailer Park in Moravia reported the equipment was stolen during the early morning hours of October 21st. Two days later, the manager received a tip on the possible whereabouts of the tractor. State Police responded to a location in Sempronius and found parts matching the description of the stolen tractor.
28-year-old Zackary Knapp, of Moravia, was charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property and was sent to jail for arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
