A Cayuga County man is facing charges of petit larceny after police were sent to a home in the town of Brutus for the report of a domestic incident.
An investigation determined that Joshua Giancola had allegedly stolen a Ring doorbell camera from a home in the town of Brutus. Upon investigation, a warrant was issued for Giancola. Giancola turned himself in to the Sheriff’s Office, where he was processed and charged with petit larceny.
Giancola was released to appear in Brutus Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
