The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Canandaigua woman following a larceny investigation at the Victor Walmart.
Deputies responded to the store, located at 441 Commerce Drive, around 5:30 on Tuesday, for a reported theft. After investigating, deputies arrested 32-year-old Samantha Engebrecht and charged her with Petit Larceny.
She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
