Deputies with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Ty-Janey Whitfield of Canandaigua on July 15 on several charges stemming from a bench warrant issued by Farmington Town Court.
Whitfield faces charges including DWAI-Drugs, unlicensed driving, failure to update address, aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, and violation of plate lamps.
She was taken into custody and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where she is being held for arraignment.
Whitfield is scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
