A Canandaigua woman was arrested Saturday by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office on a felony bench warrant out of Ontario County Court.
The warrant for Erica Record’s arrest stems from her alleged failure to appear on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony driving while intoxicated and felony aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child. While in custody, it is alleged that Record was also to be in possession of a controlled substance and was additionally charged.
Record was sent to the Ontario County Jail where she was held for CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
