A Canandaigua woman was arrested Wednesday morning on a bench warrant related to a previous drug charge.
36-year-old Jessica Gleeson was taken into custody on the warrant issued by Farmington Town Court for allegedly violating conditions of her pre-trial release on an original charge of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Gleeson was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where she was held for arraignment in CAP Court. She is scheduled to return to Farmington Town Court to face the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
