A Canandaigua woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly making repeated non-emergency calls to 911 and shoving a police officer during her arrest.
According to authorities, 26-year-old Christina Luongo was charged with ten counts of second-degree aggravated harassment and one count of second-degree harassment. Investigators say Luongo called 911 a total of 21 times between 5:00 a.m. and 8:53 p.m. without any legitimate reason.
After being taken into custody, Luongo allegedly shoved one of the arresting officers. She was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
