SHARE NOW

On Saturday, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Canandaigua woman after receiving a tip regarding her whereabouts.

Aimee Clement, 32, was taken into custody at approximately 12:10 p.m. at the Candlewood apartments on County Road 28. Authorities responded to the residence after a community member reported that Clement was living there.

Clement was processed as a fugitive from justice due to an active felony warrant out of Milton, Pennsylvania. The warrant was issued for failing to appear in court regarding original charges of Grand Larceny involving a Walmart.

Clement was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await extradition proceedings.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
