A traffic stop conducted New Year’s morning in the town of Farmington resulted in the arrest of a Canandaigua woman.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped Ty-Janey Whitfield’s car in the parking lot of the Farmington Byrne Dairy. A roadside investigation determined Whitfield was allegedly driving while impaired by drugs. She is also accused of driving on a suspended license.
Whitfield was charged with driving while ability impaired drugs, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle an da few additional minor charges/
Whitfield was released on an appearance ticket for Farmington Town Court
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
