Canandaigua Woman Accused of Damaging Property at Woodridge

SHARE NOW

A Canandaigua woman has been arrested after reportedly damaging property at her residence in the Town of Canandaigua.

Deputies with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office were called around 3 p.m. Thursday to the Woodridge on County Road 50 for a report of criminal mischief. Investigators say 21-year-old Anna Champion, a resident of the property, destroyed her room, causing more than $250 in damage. Champion was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and taken to the Ontario County Jail.

She’s scheduled to appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
