A traffic stop on South Main Street in the city of Canandaigua resulted in the arrest of a Pennsylvania woman under Leandra’s Law.
During the traffic stop by Canandaigua Police, Maddison Grobost, of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, exhibited signs of intoxication and subsequently failed field sobriety tests. Additionally, the 31-year-old had a child as a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop. Grobost was charged with DWI under Leandra’s Law, which is a felony.
Grobot was released on an appearance ticket for Canandaigua City Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
