A Canandaigua Man has been arrested on a charge of criminal contempt.
O’Neil E. Lollis was arrested by local police following a disturbance on South Main Street. Authorities say the 68-year-old Lollis allegedly approached a person who had an active order of protection against him and engaged in unwanted conversation that caused the individual to fear for their safety.
Lollis was charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree and taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
