On Wednesday, deputies arrested a Canandaigua man following a traffic stop at the intersection of Brace Road and County Road 30.
At approximately 9:42 p.m. on March 11, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old David Bradley. The arrest followed a series of standardized field sobriety tests where deputies allegedly determined Bradley was operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs.
Through further investigation, authorities also allegedly found Bradley to be in possession of two controlled substances.
Bradley was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree. Additional charges included Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Unlicensed Operation, Operating Without License Plate Lights, Operating Without Operational Brake Lights, Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, Moving Left of Pavement Markings, and Operating an Uninspected Motor Vehicle.
Bradley was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await his appearance in the Centralized Arraignment Part Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
