Canandaigua Man Faces Drug Charges After Ontario County Traffic Stop

A traffic stop on State Route 332 in the town of Farmington Sunday morning resulted in the arrest of a Canandaigua man.

During the traffic stop, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office discovered that Peter Bonacci was allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine and Fentanyl. The 53-year-old Bonacci was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Bonacci was sent to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
