On Thursday, Lawrence Bullock was taken into custody on a charge of Petit Larceny following a police investigation into an incident at the Walmart in the Town of Hopewell.
The 62-year-old Canandaigua resident is accused of selecting various merchandise on March 14 and passing all points of sale without paying. The total value of the items allegedly stolen was $988.98.
Bullock was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge in court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
