A Canandaigua man was arrested on a felony charge of DWI in Yates County.
Andrew Miller was arrested after being stopped on State Route 14A in Benton for a vehicle and traffic infraction. A subsequent investigation by deputies with Miller led to him being placed into custody and performing a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Miller was arrested and transported to the Yates County Public Safety Building where he refused to submit to a chemical test.
A further investigation revealed Miller had a previous DWI conviction within the last ten years, which resulted in the felony charge.
Miller was held at the Yates County Jail for CAP arraignment.
