The driver of a Chevrolet Equinox that was discovered in a ditch on County Road 46 in the town of Canandaigua was arrested by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver was identified as Anthony McDonald of Canandaigua, who was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated.
McDonald was issued tickets for DWI and failure to keep right. He will answer those charges in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
