A Canandaigua man is facing charges after police say he threatened two people and was caught watching their home late at night.
Officers were called to North Pearl Street just before 1 a.m. October 1. They say 37-year-old James O’Dell Jr. had made threats and was spotted outside the victims’ residence.
When officers approached him, O’Dell tried to run but was quickly caught. He’s charged with stalking, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration.
O’Dell was taken to the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
