Canandaigua City Police report the arrest of a Canandaigua man following the investigation into an alleged order of protection violation.
An investigation found that 39-year-old Christopher Vanderwall allegedly contacted the protected party. He was charged with criminal contempt.
Following his arrest, Vanderwall was brought to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
