Canandaigua police arrested a 74-year-old man following a traffic stop on Ontario Street.
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated male attempting to leave a residence on Phoenix Street. A vehicle matching the description was observed swerving in and out of its lane. The driver, identified as Daniel Catalfamo of Canandaigua, was stopped on Ontario Street.
Police determined that Catalfamo was intoxicated. Because he had a prior DWI conviction and a revoked license, he was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree.
Catalfamo was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
