The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Canandaigua man accused of violating a court order.
Deputies say 32-year-old Francis Ryan III was taken into custody around 10 a.m. on Monday and charged with criminal contempt in the second degree. According to investigators, Ryan violated a duly served order issued out of Ontario County Family Court.
He was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment through the Centralized Arraignment Part, and will return to Bristol Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
