Canandaigua Man Accused of Contacting Person With Order of Protection Against Him

A Canandaigua man has been arrested on a charge of aggravated family offense following an investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

44-year-old Russell Carlson is accused of calling a woman who is a protected party on a stay away order of protection on January 22nd and has a prior conviction for criminal contempt in the previous five years. Carlson was already being held at the Ontario County Jail on unrelated charges but appeared at CAP court for arraignment.

Carlson will appear at the Ontario County Court on a later date to answer the charge.
