A Canandaigua man was charged with grand larceny after he allegedly stole a dump truck from a city business.
It is alleged that sometime between 9 and noon Monday morning, Ronald Sennett, Junior, stole the truck. Monday afternoon, police were called to a fight between two men on South Main Street. Sennett was one of the men involved in the altercation and police say he had the stolen truck. In addition to criminal possession of stolen property and grand larceny charges, the 28-year-old Sennett was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs with a felony conviction after showing signs of impairment at the scene.
Following his arrest, Sennett was sent to Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
