A Canandaigua man is facing charges of criminal mischief, petit larceny, and possession of burglary tools following an alleged incident at Dick’s Sporting Goods at Eastview Mall in Victor.
Abdiel Velezsotomayor is accused of stealing $161.99 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it. He is also accused of damaging another $198 worth of merchandise.
Velezsotomayor was released on appearance tickets for Victor Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
